Planning approval and construction of a new build, three storey property, with basement and new rear garden, to meet the Code for Sustainable Homes and Life Time Home standards. The design’s solar orientation led to the design of a south facing stairwell linking floors of the house and providing the basis for passive heating and cooling strategies, to help minimise overall energy consumption.
